They come and they go

I am talking about TV Shows, one that I am thinking about today is "moonlight" this show meant more to me then just a " filler" for CBS " The Ghostwhisperer" for me the show moonlight meant entertainment at its finest.
As all the fans of the show know, it was canceled after only one season, it left most of us really heart broken watching these characters evolve from nothing to real life people that we all cared about and the viewers wanted more we, cheer for them, laughed with them, and shed a tear...strangely I cared... something I haven't done in years and I was left with a hollow "unclosed" chapter, a void if you will, and a bewildered sense of "just what were they thinking?( CBS ) 8 million plus people watching still wanting to be entertained after CBSs number one show ,someone had to have been buying something or seeing the ads that paid for that time spot yes?, I was still even more surprised by the stations ( CBS ) attitudes when confronted by disappointed and surprised fans with emails and calls and snail mail they passed them off and just shrugged their shoulders and said, nothing personal its just business,,,what " business"are they referring to?? some say that CBS wanted to take the show moonlight and turn it into CSI Moonlight and the writers and the producers simply said NO!! so standing up to a third rate Station like CBS made them take their anger and dismay out on the viewers and the fans and left a huge hole in television history.
One show I can can't imagine having on the air waves any longer is "Family Guy" some people like the show. some say its okay and others (like me), think it sucks its off color humor is rude, the voices are annoying and the story "plot" is sad, I dislike everything about it, its humor is raciest and sexiest and at times disgusting, yet ( and get this) it has been canceled three times fox took it off the air, three times ( yawn) I hear they are making more, now far be it from me to complain, but did the writer of Family guy "Seth McFarland" start a blood drive? did he help people or raise money for those who are in need? not that I know of I maybe wrong but Seth McFarland should have stayed on strike, but if you type in " moonlight" on your internet browser all you see is blood drives that are held across the country in the name Alex O'Loughlin one of the stars of the show moonlight, and blogs where fans of the show are rallying and gathering to support the efforts of reviving the show and to making money to help others in need, you hear them talk about emailing FX, and the sci fi other stations to pick up moonlight for a 2nd season the websites are over worked and under paid they are also going as far as even having a major network pole people to see how many would switch to "Direct tv" if they sponsored a second season, many fans are and will...amazing how a 3rd rate television station (CBS) would drop a show so popular and disappoint so many fans, it blows my mind....
Sometimes life can be hard, anyone that has worked and dragged their butts around for anymore then a few years at a crap job, with crap pay knows, and Television can be an escape from that and other things that keep kicking you in the teeth each day ,its their duty to entertain us, we watch and they pump commercial after commercial at us,and we stay tuned in and put up with it, as long as the show is worth seeing,Moonlight was worth the 20 minutes of garbage commercials to get to the gold, so I guess that CBS wants to take a hit next year with CSI shows maybe it will buy the family guy from fox..good grief, yet another reason for me not to watch that station I will not watch Ghostwhisper season 4 season 5 just might be "CSI ghostwhisper"
Moonlight stared Alex O'Loughlin his co stars made the show gold are Sophia Myles,Jason Dohring.
you can still find the shows on the internet and on utube so get them while they are hot and before CBS comes into your house and slaps that popcorn from your hand..
